Intermediary Registration Guide

Guidance on registering an intermediary when using RetroSuit for Malaysia-compliant e-invoicing.

Overview

To use RetroSuit for Malaysia e-invoicing, customers are required to register Hourglass Technology as their intermediary within the MyInvois portal. This allows RetroSuit to facilitate e-invoice generation and submission on your behalf.

Who should use this guide?

This guide is intended for business owners or authorized company representatives who use RetroSuit and are required to submit e-invoices through the MyInvois system.

How to register an intermediary

  1. Visit the MyInvois portal and sign in at:
    https://myinvois.hasil.gov.my/
  2. If you have not yet registered your business or company, complete the company registration process first.
  3. From the MyInvois portal, switch your taxpayer profile from your personal profile to your business or company profile.
  4. Once your company profile is active, open your Company Taxpayer Profile.
  5. Scroll down to the Representatives section and click Add Intermediary.

A modal will appear requesting the following information:

  • TIN
  • BRN
  • Taxpayer Name
  • Captcha Value
  • Is Foreign Company
  • Is Peppol Supported
  • Status

After registration

Once Hourglass Technology has been successfully added as your intermediary, you may proceed with using RetroSuit for e-invoicing. No additional intermediary setup is required unless your company details change.
